Let’s have a quick look at Lewandowski’s life and career before meeting his wife:
Robert Lewandowski was born on August 21, 1988. He’s originally from Warsaw, Poland, and was given a name that would make it easier for him when moving abroad as a professional soccer player. His father, Krzysztof, was a judo champion and played soccer for Hutnik Warszawa in the second division. Robert’s mother, Iwona, is a former volleyball player for AZS Warszawa and has been the vice-president of Partyzant Leszno. The Bayern Munich’s striker has a sister named Milena, who plays volleyball and has represented the U21 national team.
Being a full international for Poland since 2008, Mr. Lewandowski has earned over 80 caps and was a member of their team at Euro 2012 and Euro 2016. He ranks third among their top scorers of all time, with 42 goals. While playing for Bayern Munich, on September 22, 2015, the striker scored five goals against Wolfsburg in nine minutes, the fastest in any major European soccer league since records have been kept!
Anna Lewandowska (née. Stachurska) was born on September 7, 1988. She’s a Lodz, Poland native. Robert’s wife graduated from the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw in 2012, and became a Nutrition specialist the following year. She gives nutritional advice on her blog Healthy Plan by Ann.
Mrs. Lewandowska practices Karate (black belt). She has a strict diet and workout regime, just like her hubby. Anna is a member of Pruszkow Karate Club. She won three medals in the world championship seniors, six European Championships medals in different age categories, including two European Championships seniors, and 29 Polish Championship medals.
Anna and Robert met in 2007, while they were at a seminar for students of the integration of the Warsaw School of Education and Sport. They became engaged in 2012, and married on June 22, 2013, in Warsaw. The couple is almost ready to welcome the newest member of their family: Robert announced in early December 2016 that his wife was in the fifth month of pregnancy by that time!
