Stephanie Van Pelt
Stephanie Van Pelt is the stunning wife of sports personality, Scott Van Pelt –whom you know from his work on ESPN.
Stephanie’s husband has been a SportsCenter anchor since 2015. The 52-year-old runs a Bad Beats segment on his midnight SportsCenter edition and contributes to ESPN’s telecasts of the Masters and The Open, two of professional golf’s majors, as both an anchor and hole announcer.
Prior to joining ESPN in 2001 as the network’s lead professional golf reporter –Van Pelt was an anchor and reporter for The Golf Channel from 1994 until 2000. Some may remember him for his days as the co-host of studio programs Golf Central, Leaderboard Report and occasional host of Viewer’s Forum or his days at WTTG-TV in Washington, D.C – an affiliate station of FOX.
The Maryland native holds a bachelor’s degree in radio/television and film from University of Maryland.
He has been happily married to Stephanie Paulk since October 22, 2011. Together they share three children.
Stephanie Van Pelt gave birth to first child, daughter Lila in 2012. Followed by a brother, Sam who was born in 2016. The couple are also proud owners of a dog, Otis.
Stephanie Van Pelt attended University of Saint Joseph and holds a teaching degree. Is safe to say there wouldn’t be Scott Van Pelt without his lovely wife, however she has kept as private as they come. The wife and mom certainly keeps busy at home with the couple’s children and she is rarely seen in public with her husband –leaving all the spotlight to her man.
Most recently, Scott Van Pelt has been beefing with Bill Simmons who tweeted Van Pelt is ‘overrated as a gambling guy.’ Scott fired back tweeting “Tell me how gambling works, Bill. I’m apparently not a gambling guy. Or whatever you said. Again. How many free shots you think you get?”
Are you taking any sides? The enigmatic Stephanie Van Pelt sure is.
