Bae Ji-Hyun is the lovely wife of South Korean MLB star, Hyun-jin Ryu –currently a pitcher with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Bae’s starting pitcher husband was born March 25, 1987; Incheon, South Korea native was a member of South Korea’s national junior baseball team before starting his professional career in 2006.
He was a seven-time KBO All-Star with the Hanwha Eagles from 2006 to 2012. He signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2013.
Bae Ji-Hyun is also a South Korea native and she isn’t your typical MLB wag. 31-year-old Bae can certainly keep a conversation when it comes to talking about sports. She happens to be a sports journalist. The two met through an introduction by MBC sports commentator Jung Min-chul. As you can see, the two met within the baseball industry and is safe to say they always will have a topic to talk about.
The couple dated and were in a steady relationship for two years prior to their nuptials. The two tied the knot earlier this year on January 5th to be exact. Ryu and Bae had their wedding at the Shilla Hotel with the best man Yoo Jae-suk.
The lovely Bae Ji-Hyun is a sportscaster for MBC Sports Plus, in addition she’s also worked as a news anchor for SBS ESPN and SBS Sports. At Sports Plus she’s currently the host of a baseball program. Prior to her work on TV, she is said to have landed a few gigs as a model.
